Under Pressure: A Blood Pressure Board Game was commissioned by Dr. Shelby Kelsh PharmD, professor at the School of Pharmacy at Ferris State University in the Summer of 2023. I was hired along with fellow designer Alexis Schineman.

 

Together, we collaborated on every step of the design process, from performing research, creating concept art for playing cards, game board, instructions and box, and creating the final polished deliverables. Throughout the process, we received and implemented feedback from regular meetings to create an attractive and useful design that would appeal to pharmacy students.  We completed the designs on time, and provided high quality files to be sent to a manufacturer.

Alexis and I split all the major decks evenly between us for concept designs, in which I designed three patient profiles, side effect art and life event art. After the initial concepts, I shifted gears to text layout for all the cards. I also took charge of the final logo design, card backs, game board and the instruction booklet.
